From designing Henry VIII’s death warrants in The Tudors to working as lead graphic designer on the set of The Grand Budapest Hotel and creating those pink Mendl’s boxes, Annie Atkins specialises in graphics for filmmaking, such as creating artwork for movie posters and also making any graphic pieces outlined by a period film script – like prison escape maps and telegrams to help create Wes Anderson’s fictional State of Zubrowka; or neon shopfront signs and fake passports for Spielberg’s new Cold War spy thriller.
